Well, it is a difficult decision. I still don't own one, and when the time comes I will have a hard time choosing between the blue or black dial. And I have to have it on the beautiful stainless steel bracelet as well.

I am planning to sell a few of my watches in the fairly near future, having not yet decided which watch to replace them with. Today it occurred to me, "Why not buy both of them if I can afford it!?" If not, I think I will go with the blue dial, as I already have many black dial watches. And that blue dial/bezel combo is so irresistible!

To those of you who do have one: Congratulations!

Cheers,
Carl

I think there is no wrong choice in any of the three. All three are stunning and the ceramic wave dial and highly reflective polished skeleton arrow hands make all the difference here. Really down to personal preference.

thanks - they are very comfortable as well

for me personally the nato's are preferable to the rubber options and you can buy 2 for the price of the rubber strap (or a dozen at least if you don't want Omega's own band)

I have the black/white one as well

I have the blue, and love it. I think black is also quite fetching. For me, the blue Seamaster Pro is like the black dialed Submariner, or the orange Doxa: it’s the signature color for that model. It also tends to play with the light. It could be dark blue or almost black, medium blue or light blue depending on the ambient illumination. I enjoy the variety.

Delivered today... went with the black though it was a tough choice! Should get the rubber strap in a few weeks. This is a really impressive watch as others have shown. As impressive as my SubC on first impressions. The dial is very dynamic, the black is very crisp and the laser cut waves give them a gray appearance from some angles. The applied markers are tall and give the dial much depth especially when viewed from angles. The highly polished hands with applied lume catch the light to make the dial very legible . And love the red touches of the seamaster writing and the tip of seconds hand. The bracelet is an improvement and the adjustable clasp is easy to use. The bracelet integrated nicely into the lugs and the end links do not protrude beyond the lugs- this helps make the 42mm seem a bit smaller and adds to the comfort . Overall, very pleased!!

My preference is the grey dial. More unique and versatile. Mine should be arriving tomorrow!

I went from grey to blue. Left the grey untouched in the box for a couple of weeks before finally deciding I preferred the blue.

I did the exact opposite. Ordered the blue and then switched to grey. I agonized and agonized over the blue or grey, reading everyone else’s opinions. Finally realized to just go with what I liked the best, not what others liked more.

I think all of them are fantastic and you can’t go wrong.

In the context of a collection, my choice is the blue SM. There are other black dialed divers that tempt me out there, but very few (if any) nicer/as nice blue dialed ones.

I'm shocked by how much I like this design. I've never liked the SMP series (though I thought the 2254 was okay), especially not the "Bond" watch, but something about this iteration is really appealing.

I think the elements I found off-putting are toned down here, while letting it have unique design DNA. Of course, I dislike the helium valve, but that's been an Omega thing for ages now.

Both nice.

But considering the history-blue over black. However, if Bond wears the grey dial come November 2019-such will go down as the market winner.

After trying on both, I have changed my mind... If this was going to be my only watch then I would go with Black as it is the most versatile! However, since I have one too many... I would go with the Blue on this one ....

I was debating between the blue and the black. Went with the black for a bit "classier" appearance. The polished black bezel and dial have an elegant appearance while the blue is more of a fun and casual look. Wouldn't mind having both honestly.

Only one other black watch in my rotation, a Seiko SKX007. Others watches at this time are a white Speedmaster, white/cream Stowa Antea, and grey sunburst Halios Seaforth.

Congrats! Such an awesome watch. I just tried on the black and blue dials on the rubber strap at an Omega AD (didn't have the silver or any with the bracelet) and, while both are awesome, I am definitely more drawn to the blue dial. I absolutely love that blue dial. I even took them outside under normal lighting, and the blue dial changes shades of blue from a deep, dark blue to a bright, lighter blue depending on the sunshine and natural lighting.

I think the silver looks really good in photos as well, and even though I haven't seen the silver in person I am confident that I would go with the blue followed by the black and then the silver. Having said that, they are all fantastic watches, especially for the price IMO. I am about to pick one up any day now.

Are they going to update the 36.25mm watch as well with these dials and strap?
