Could get a brand new steinhart. 2nd hand Omega Seamaster? althought that wouldn't have a white face.

Get a preowned seamaster or tudor black bay.

Personally, I would get an Oris 65 or a used Tudor black bay or a Steinhart (as previously suggested) with that budget. But it will be difficult to find one with your criteria. White dial/date certainly not available in Oris 65 or Blackbay.

Couple of options ;

Sinn

Get Rolex classic in silver and Save up a few extra quid (you might be able to negotiate them down a bit?) ...

Up & coming reasonably priced UK brand with nice looking watches & some white dials & date (but no date mag) ;

https://farer.com

You can get a used Tag Heuer Grand Carrera for£1500 with cream/white dial. do Ebay search.

I like the Sinn referenced above.

Would also check out speedmaster date as well as grand seiko

I would definitely go for Sinn if these are your requirements.

If a SS steel strap is not essential, then I would look at Nomos too.

Also, have a look at Alpina
I think you'll struggle to find anything with a date 'magnifier' though ..

Used Panerai? May fall just over budget.
