Tudor fabric straps
Is it just me, or did Tudor stop supplying the additional fabric strap with the current Black Bay models? I've had the older ETA versions and they always came with the additional strap and integrated spring bars. If this is the case, when did it happen?

Yeah you only get one strap now unfortunately.
I think they started doing that within the last year or so. |

Well, that's a bit frustrating. I guess it's a way of raising the price without raising the dollar amount. Sneaky.
Makes me wish I'd have held onto one or two while I had the chance. |

I purchased mine around 4 months ago, and it came with additional fabric strap. Lucked out I guess.

Interesting. Did yours come with the new style box? Seems the new box might have coincided with the deletion of the extra strap. The compartment where the strap could go is now hidden rather than it being right up front in the open.

Thanks for posting the pic. That's the new style box I was referring to. I guess guess that disproves my theory. I love the BBR, nice choice!

Can anyone else buying recently comment on getting an additional strap or no strap? I'm curious as to how random this might be. The additional strap adds considerable value IMO.

From my AD, Tudor has forgone the additional strap within the last year to not raise costs on their watches. So newer models will not have the accompanying NATO if purchased on a bracelet.

Tudor stopped providing the additional woven strap after Basel '18. Many AD's were still including the additional strap if the watch was already in their stock.

Correct. While you still may encounter outliers out there, the one strap/bracelet provided is the new norm.

I sold mine. A $9 NATO is better in my opinion.

AD said that was the case as an alternative to raising prices when I asked. “The AD said” is not the best way to start a reply lol, but it does make sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

When I got my BBGMT on leather, the AD gave me the choice from a variety of Tudor BB fabric straps at no extra cost. I chose the red. Great watch and great service from the AD. Oh, and they through in a Tudor pen.

I think Tudor should be going in the other direction. Extra straps included, quick change spring bar system, and more BB58 type dimensions.

Better in what way? I like the tudor strap but in my opinion it is not "strong" enough for the watch. A standard strap is keeping the watch in place better. At least in my experience

I love my fabric strap on my BBN. The bracelet is very high quality but my wrist size falls into a weird spot where I can only size it to be slightly too tight or too loose. The fabric fits perfectly.
