All kidding aside I do think the dial on a GS can easily hold up against a PP. The movement of course is another story.

Patek is Patek...


GS is finished beautifully both inside and out.
This photo do not do justice to Grand Seiko's attention to detail and polished finishing.

I actually also very much appreciate the increased power reserve of the GS movement.

curved dial, crystal and hands, beautifully balanced and perfectly sized for a modern dress watch at 38.5mm

I tend to lean more toward the sport/diver and everyday watches, but when forced at gunpoint to dress up I usually pull out one of these... shown here, of course, in my usual dress flannel shirt. Although I'm not a big dress-watch guy, I must admit that I quite like a lot of the Reverso's I've seen in this in this thread.
