I agree! I got a 6 speed manual not too long ago! I almost forgot how much fun it is to drive...

I've been in a few Ferraris, never drove one myself but have experienced the passenger seat.

I don't know if I could ever get past the price tag, I'd be worried about it all the time. More so then you would with a 911 since they are everywhere, everyone will notice your Ferrari and that can be a double edged sword.

Go big or go home.

The 812 video is really cool. If I had circa $500k to drop on a ride, that would be the one I picked.

I've driven a couple of a friends Ferrari's. I got a long lecture on the Daytona about trans heat before 2nd gear. No such lecture on his newer ones.

So in my uniformed mind. I think the newer ones are less finicky than the older ones.

Of course. I could well be wrong as my experience is about a half inch deep.

I bring my lambo to the gym everyday when its nice out (nj shitty weather for next few months). I also drag race it and plan on tracking it more this coming summer. Is it a novelty? IDK, most expensive things in life are including high end watches. Work hard for your money and its easier to justify spending and enjoying it.

Turbo'd to 1,000 wheel horsepower too

I passed for now.

I just can’t justify selling my car and picking up a $2,000 a month payment.

I love my car. So to pick up debt and the subsequent payments...

Not ready for anything like that just yet.

I think that’s a wise decision Seth You’ll know when the time is right. Besides you have that new home to break in

Yep. Exactly that.

The house too was a big decider factor. Need things to settle down and then who knows.

Agreed. Slightly less expensive too. More upgrades. But a big more miles, and a year older.

I think I prefer the gray color.

In any case, drove around a bunch today in the GTS. It’s such a fantastic beast.

Do I want a Ferrari or McLaren? Yes!!!

But I need more money and more garages. Because at the moment, I just don’t think I’m willing to give up my car, for a payment.

And yeah, the house is most definitely keeping me busy enough

I really love the look of Chacoal Grey and Maroon Leather color combination for a Supercar!

Was going to say get the grey one but I think you are in a good spot and smart to pass. You still have the RR? Debt can wreck the best laid plans.

Also, you've just started building your real estate empire. That's where the money gets real.

You bring up a super point. Best to save as much, as fast, as possible and pick up another property. Plenty of time for cars after I build up more of a portfolio. Yeah man, great point.

Still have the Sport. Way over miles. My guess is it’ll stay with me a really long time. Absolutely love it.

Yeah. Truth is, it’s why I want a spider. Thinking about something to cruise in. Not intersted in going super fast. But love the looks, sound and hard top convertible.

I should have never gotten rid of the SL550. hindsight I suppose.

No regrets tho. Having a blast (most of the time).

I kid you not tho, I’ve not gone above 60 in the GTS since the “incident”

The gray combo is most incredible, love that intereor color. I do prefer the rims on the black one though.

The McLaren is actually my dream car. Maybe when C is all grown up I’ll be able to get one. I’m sure my wife would love that!

That payment range isn’t bad. Especially for an exotic. You eventually get used to it. At first it’ll make your mind and stomach do regretful backflips, but after a few months, it normalizes.

Anyway, I’m sure it’s just a matter of timing more than anything. Ferrari today, Ferrari tomorrow.

I would honestly keep the GTS over a Ferrari or Lamborghini. It’s plenty fast,
something you can DD comfortably (if you wanted) and it’s still somewhat under the radar. Even a 911 would attract more attention, I think.

It is the perfect car.

Lmao. Well, I’m glad I don’t mind the attention.

The GTS is so far above the radar it’s ridiculous. It gets attention literally everywhere. I like it tho. But damn, I get multiple thumbs up every single time I drive it.

Just today someone flew up behind me so I moved into the right lane. They pulled up next to me and just stared at it and then fell back behind me again.

It’s literally non stop.

But again, not looking for speed so much. Just a cruiser. Something I can take the top down in.

Doesn’t matter tho. Keeping the GTS. For now anyway.

Supercar vs. Sports Car

My buddy, co-worker, has a McLaren 650s — very easy to drive. The attention we get in the 650s is a little too much for me — he’s single and I’m not! Our boss is looking to pick up a Point A to Point A exotic, and they want me to pick something up as well.

Personally, I have to have 3 pedals, as my track car and m5 have both 3 pedals. With that said, I’ve been in and out of the air-cooled 3 pedal camp, and the only thing that appeals to me is a Singer. A Singer is a sports car that will fly under the radar — and I can put our daughter in the back seat.

Then, there’s another part of me that really wants an Ariel Atom or Radical RXC for a pure track weapon.

On a mountain run the other day with my buddy, and my daughter fast asleep in her baby seat. Both cars can crack 200mph, but only one of them can haul a baby seat.

That M5 is incredible. Absolutely one of my favorite cars.

And the McLaren is sick.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing.
