Color choice- 2018 Seamaster diver 300M- anyone change their mind ?

Love both the blue and black version, have seen lots of great pics on TRF and have seen both in person but still torn... question is: for those of you who have one, any regrets about your color choice?

I’m afraid of the novelty of the blue wearing off over time, however I already have a black dial diver (SubC). Leaning toward black but curious how owners of both color feel after wearing/owning for a weeks-months. Thx!

I have worn it for a day and i think i would have been also happy (or happier) with the blue. Had i opted for the blue i would have felt the exact same thing about the black one.
They are both great, the ceramic dial is unreal. The blue is fantastic outdoors under direct sunlight and so is the black one, but indoors i prefer the black. I know i do not help

Tough choice, it's a coin toss really. I'm going to say blue because it's a unique shade, and the original color of the Seamaster. If someone can walk around with all green and all blue Subs, I think you can make an Omega work as well.

Three weeks in and zero regrets with the blue because of all the different colour permutations depending on lighting.

If you have Sub + SMP, blue is perhaps more complementary.

Bottom line: can't go wrong with blue, stunning black or amazing silver.

I love all three but the silver calls me more.
Have yet to see it in person.
Has anyone?

bought the black as I could do a good deal on a part ex watch and the dealer threw in an omega nato as well at £120

had to have black as that was the only one the dealer had - absolutely love it - highly recommend buying a nato as well as an option

I would have been just as happy with the blue if that had been my only choice instead

don't think I would have gone with silver dial but I have not seen the watch in person so I reserve judgment

I think all options are great and I even love the sedan gold two tone and that is very rare for me

From the pics--silver-grey looks like the winner.

If you have a sub go with the blue for a different look. I love my blue pelagos.

I’ve tried on all three. The silver dial was the winner for me. It was the most dynamic, it showed the laser etched waves the best, and the text on the dial was the most subtle.

They were all great in their own way though. You really can’t go wrong.

No regrets with the blue. Since you already own the black dial sub, I would recommend the blue . . .

I went black.

No regrets.

I find classic colors suit me best.

Seen them all and tried them all. Still on the fence myself for various reasons... But to me the clear winners were blue and silver.... With the nod to the silver imo... That dial pops so spectacular in real life. Just grabs your attention at a glance.

I prefer the silver dial based on pictures. A local AD had the black dial on a rubber strap and it was nice but the rubber strap did not work for me. I will look again and hopefully see it on a bracelet.

If you have a black sub, get the blue. I personally love blue dialed watches and always look forward to wearing them over the run of the mill black dialed watches.

Get the blue and you will have a great combo.

Finally got to eyeballs these IRL over the weekend but couldn't compare them side by side (different stores). I'm heavily biased towards the all blue as I have a 2531.80 but the silver photographs well and looks really nice. I wonder which one will get the nod for the next Bond film (Craig did the ad with just the silver, correct?). I'm hoping to do a better side by side comparison in a year or two when supply normalizes.

It is a big heavy watch on the bracelet though, especially coming from the 2531 and 5 digit subs.

Nice pics everyone!
Still torn though and will prob take a look in person again. I know silver is nice, just not for me. I’ll prob wear it a lot on rubber. So not sure if blue rubber plus blue dial/bezel will just overwhelm me over time. I tend to lean toward more timeless colors and it’s the reason for leaning toward black despite owning SubC. But the blue is gorgeous in the flesh. I’ll be doing a trade so that may be limiting as well... decisions decisions lol.

Saw one in the local AD window on a rubber strap - looked quite cool.

Super assessment. Black looks better with indoor showroom lighting while the blue is more photogenic with natural lighting. At this pricing point, both great

I just tried on both the black and blue today. I like the black better. I didn’t even know grey is an option. At 42mm it wore smaller than my SubC.

saw the blue at a boutique recently... it's a bit too light for my taste. kind of wish it was a bit darker blue, maybe navy.

prior gen blue is darker and smaller case, may be a better version for me.

I've tried on all three and I think they all look good. They grey is probably my least favorite but if I already had a black and a blue diver, it would be my choice. Because you have a black Submariner, I'd definitely go for the blue. It's almost as versatile as black and it's something different than your Submariner.
