I got lucky as the seller only lived about 10 miles from me. He's an FBI agent so I didn't haggle too much with him ;). Actually he's probably listening right now.

Tudor has been tempting me lately, the Ranger of all models which doesn't seem to be real popular around here. I don't know that I will pull the trigger but been looking.

Oh please no, anything but a Ranger.

Oh wait...that’s actually a pretty good looking watch.

I didn't much pay attention to Tudor until I began seeing them on this site. I have to say the GMT shown in this post is really good looking from many different perspectives. Well done and thanks for your post OP. I couldn't agree more. A great (scratch tool) instrument.

Huge Tudor fan; both old and new pieces. The BB GMT is definitely chunky but such an all-around amazing watch. Here are some pics of the collection, since everyone loves pics. :)

(Looks mighty good on a Rubber B)

BB58 will hopefully be here soon...

Subluvin,

Interesting thread.

In my business I use a lot of tools - weldeing equipment, drills, saws, etc. etc.

They are all tools.

I wear a 14060 M on a nato as a weekly work watch so it is also a tool - it shows me the time and this one is +/- 0 sec/day.

But most of my watches can do this to my knock off time requirements.

So all watches are tool watches to me.

Ps. Your Tudor BB and Pelagos are not diving watches.

The bezel markings don’t comply with the ISO Standards for a ‘diver’.

You would need to buy a DSSD or one of the new SD’s to own a ‘diver’.

Why do you think Rolex has added the correct minute bezel markers to these models?

To be fair to comply with ISO 6425 both the SD 43 and the DSSD ought to have the word Divers on them as well it also states the watch should have clearly distinguishable minute markings on the watch face not the bezel.

Tudor checks off more boxes for me than Rolex, but I just can't get past the name (yet).
