They also wear completely differently.

Other than that it’s down to personal choice.

Being pragmatic, no one needs 4000 ft water resistance and if you have a smartphone no one needs a stopwatch on ones’ wrist.

Daytona! Prefer in white but would still take the black over the SD.

50th ANVSY Sea Dweller or a SS Daytona Black Dial

Interesting results so far

SD43 - 21
Daytona - 12

Surprised at that to be honest given the Daytona’s perceived popularity

Very true...the SD43 does take a little getting used to but the simpler dial amongst other things, does it for me!

Personally I find zero issue with comfort on the SD43. I can only imagine it’d be a problem if you like wearing your watches loosely.

SD all day every day and twice on a Sunday. Currently my favourite steel Rolex.

Daytona with no doubt!

SD would look too big on my wrist.

If my only watch, then the Daytona C

If my only Rolex, then the SD43

There are times I don't want a bulky watch with cyclops that screams Rolex to everyone. If I was owner of my own company, lived in the country perhaps, but not in my business line. For that reason, the Daytona C is just more flexible and discrete and imo better all-arounder.

In my collection which is more diverse though, I'd take a SD43 for sure

I have a non-ceramic white Daytona but I don't have a Sea-Dweller, so I go for the SD.

The Daytona is clearly Iconic but I do LOVE the Sea Dweller, personally. Try them on, see what feels right and pull the trigger, brother.

50th ANVSY Sea Dweller or a SS Daytona Black Dial

I am waiting on the Daytona C and love it, but I made it my priority to get the SD43 first.

The SD43 is the best of Rolex IMO, and has become the favorite in my collection.
