If Rolex didn't fit a jubilee to the new BLRO and BLNR SS GMT's how many here would retrofit them with it? Nobody really hyped the jubilee prior except the DateJust fans. Yawn.

I wouldn’t simply because I can’t afford it

But I really like that Tag Heuer that Leonardo DiCaprio wears in wolf of Wall Street.

I feel like Rolex can make a sub like that and it would be a success

It is purely speculation, but that is okay.

Hahaha
That’s true.

I’ve seen posts with the 116500 on jubilee and I think it looks killer.

Fashion is cyclical. It’s hard to say now as parts are so restrictive. Putting your own bespoke look on your luxury Rolex watch isn’t possible like it was years ago.
The modifications that were done on Rolex watches in the 80‘s were all over the place. Having a unique and non-stock Rolex was in fashion. Today’s Rolex world is stock and sterile except for the very ultra high end exclusive pieces like the Rainbow. I know if Rolex would let their customers purchase additional bracelets, straps, clasps, etc..the landscape would look different on this forum.

Very good point.

It everybody wants to go out and purchase an jubilee for $2500, then figure out the spring bars and throw it on

Also, most people don’t know that is an option.

The oyster is perfect on the SD43, the chunkiness of the bracelet matches the thickness of the watch.

I absolutely agree the jubilee looks better on slimmer watches like the DJ41 and the GMT

I have a jubilee style bracelet on my dads 1974 omega speedmaster mark IV and it’s rubbish on such a chunky watch. The original leather strap was much better.

I thought the super jubilee was slightly and I do mean slightly more comfortable but to me it’s splitting hairs...for that tough as nails/ robust look and feel though it’s hard to beat the oyster!
