Has anyone noticed the difference in dial fonts on the polar 216570? For example, in the first quoted post above, the X in ROLEX does not extend past the L in PERPETUAL. In the second quoted post, it does.

Mine was purchased in 2015 from an AD. The "X" lines up with the "L" perfectly.

Additional images from the Rolex website shows both.

I think it’s the angle, so it somehow seems they are not aligned

Nope, nothing to do with the angle. In this photo (also from Rolex's website, the X is definitely to the right of the L.

2014 here and lined up as well - my own pic below. Anyone has one where the X does extend past the L and can confirm it isn't due to the angle of the shot?

My first Rolex was a black 16570, never really liked the polar in pictures, and I didn’t need another black one, so despite the better readability of the 216570, particularly the larger GMT hand, I never really spent much time thinking about it. Then a colleague showed me his polar 216570. It looks great in person. I really don’t need another Rolex, but I have asked my AD to let me know when one comes in. Knowing me I will soon be posting an incoming on this thread!

My spacing for the L and the X is different again. My friends dad has the 216570 polar as well and it’s exactly the same. Almost exactly like the black one in the post above.

Polar Orange Creamsicle

A little variety to draw out the color. Changed to a Barton strap. Although I miss the heft of the bracelet.

Lovely shot!

I’ve got the same L and X spacing on my 2018 216570. I wonder if they changed the placement/size of the “oyster perpetual date” text at some point?

There are definitely font variations. Thin, sharp/geometric, and bold, are the three I’ve identified.

I prefer the bolder versions that came in late 2018 going into 2019.

I've had this watch for 2 years now. I can't go back to others in my collection. The fit and the size have grown on me. In fact, I want a polar version now. I have a polar 16570 but it looks too small compared with this watch. I think it's the understated nature of this watch that I enjoy the most about it. I picked up this Rubber B on Ebay last week just for the heck of it. Also a great fit and nice occasional alternative.
