Just picked this up. Absolutely love the blend of elegance and toughness. It took me a long time to understand the Explorer 1, but I am glad I did.

Great shot and congrats! It’s a perfect watch and gets more wrist time than other watches I own that are 3x the cost/desirability. There’s just something about her...

Go for it! Can’t go wrong unless it’ll bother you that you’ll stop wearing your other watches...

Nay for me. It’s the epitome of a sports watch. The most sporty watch Rolex makes. It doesn’t belong on a jubilee. My .02

First post. I’ve just acquired an Explorer 214270 mk 2. An absolutely stunning piece, couldn’t be happier with my choice (I’d love to show you but have to wait until I’ve made 10 posts, apologies).

It’s just under 3 weeks old and the bracelet is squeaking when it swings (when off the wrist). Is this normal? Has anyone else experience this on a practically new, or older, Rolex?

Thanks in advance.

I’ve now been wearing the 214270 for nearly 6 months and it gets better with every wear. I find myself constantly checking the time just to look at this beautiful piece. I hate to sound like a fan boy but it really is perfect. If you’re in position too get hold of one, don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it.

Love it. This watch is simply what anyone should be expecting from a timepiece.

I would have to say three thumbs up for a Jubilee on an Explorer.

Just picked mine up about a few weeks ago! Love it! Totally baby it though because it's my first Rolex without a ceramic bezel. Can anyone tell me how the how polished bezel holds up with day to day use? Thanks in advance....
