Black Submariner or Green Submariner (HULK)

This will be my first Sub to add to my collection. My collection ; GMT Batman, daytona 116520 (black), Patek 5167, cartier bacon blu, and Panerai 111

Black Sub was always my #1most Wanted watch, but the more I eye on Green dial I also fall in love with it. Am I going to have too many black dial in my collection, if I were going for black SUB? so I want to ask you guys in here what move I should make base on my watch collection. The price for those 2 are approx $4K different.

Thank you in Advance.

It looks like you have the black dial sports watch covered in your collection. Go with the LV, you won’t regret it.

I have both the black and green subs.
Love them both. Both can be daily wear, both go with everything. The green one...hard to take your eyes off.
I can almost say with utmost certainty that these will be the only 2 watches in my collection that will remain in the family after I die.

If you can buy both...buy both.
Otherwise...green.
Not many green Rolex options for future purchases but many black options.

Go green - it's unique! Black dials are 10 a penny.

A Rolex sub with a green dial and green bezel is a goofylooking watch ! I wouldn't want to be scene in public with one. Black

Go green. The green is stately. This watch “shines” in sunny locals and will wear well in AZ, IMHO.

I would go green. Both nice watches and if 4k is not a deal killer then go LV.

Not a fan of the green, but that's just me. Your money, your choice.

Agree 100%. The green one is for to wear one or two days a year at the most, in a costume party may be...

You already have two black dial Rolex, so go green should be the obvious choice to spice up your collection and enjoyment.

Given your collection, go LV. I have both and since getting the LV, the LN doesn’t see much wrist time.

Normally, I would say black. However, you have your share of black dials and just for variety sake, would say the hulk in this circumstance.

Never buy a watch based on your collection. Your collection, and tastes, may change. Go with the one you like the best.

The black is classic and beautiful. The hulk is not my sort of style at all. Of course if it’s about following the latest hype and fashion and not about good taste then you might want to have a slime green coloured watch

I got the green because I had a few black dials, including both other versions of the subc.

I would most likely do the hulk just to get some color variety in the collection.
Good luck deciding

You will have as many opinions as there are people ... some may have even seen or tried one.
Just a word: the dial is like magic, reflections depending on the brightness gives it a personality apart from common black.
Put some flavor if you can, go for the Hulk !
