Whit gold vs ss pepsi

I had my white gold Pepsi for many year and recently got a ss Pepsi, these two watches feel completely different and the bezel are different in color. The ss is more true to the Pepsi colors but for some unexplained reason I still like my white gold much more.

Beautiful references. I'd take the WG over SS any day.

Do you think its the weight?

I really REALLY like my WG Daytona. Its a combo of the weight making it feel special and the white gold warm hue.

Your WG Pepsi is incredible. Such a minor or indistinguishable difference to pretty much 99% of the population, but to me I love it; which is weird as I'm not really a 6 digit GMT fan in general and I'm not keen on the SS, but I really would like a WG one.

WG is a grail watch for sure.
Can you post a close up of the bezel color differences.

Believe the middle line from the red to blue in the WG is different than the SS.

The WG looks bigger than the SS. Optical illusion?

Yes I weight and the overall color tone of the watch make it feel more premium.

unexplained!? It's white gold. What's not to love, the heft the warmth. Also you might just like the PCLs more. None of this seems like a mystery to me. Both are incredible!

Yes your right, however the original was in ss and the hype is still behind the ss. The Pepsi become The watch was becuase of its ss forefather. However I feel in the future the white gold will be the collectable.

This is a great comparison photo to really highlight the case color differences between stainless and white gold under the same lighting.
The stainless model has a stark stainless/white case color, while the white gold has a slight yellow hue.
This photo is freaky a great example because it is normally difficult to determine whether lighting plays a role in the color of the casing when shooting a photo, but here is a clear example showing the stainless as true stainless, and white gold as a true white gold.

Metal material aside, I personally just love the look on the Oyster better. Jubilee looks great when it's alone, but when you see it side by side with one on an Oyster bracelet, there's no question which looks best (IMO).

i adore the WG BLRO in all its forms.

the 116719 had the old case dimensions, correct? aren’t the lugs on the 126710 slightly different?

The Oyster is much more sporty and substantial. Here is the deal, the ss is going over msrp around 16k for the ss? A preloved white gold could be had for 29 or 31k? Is much a better buy if you compare it.

Not usually a fan of PM, also that usually puts it out of my price range, but this WG Pepsi is stunning, cost aside I would choose it over the SS any day

Given the option, I much prefer the look and feel of white gold.

Beautiful watches!

Although the SS pepsi one of the hardest Rolex to obtain but I prefer the WG.

Anyone who has experienced PM will tell you it’s in a different league than SS. I much prefer the heft/feel/warmth of PM.

The WG one looks beautiful. I not a fan of the SS on Jubilee and looking at your pair side by side it's not hard to see why.

Great pair, thanks for sharing
