Is this a Daytona?
Listening to a podcast and one of the hosts has a watch that I think may be a Daytona. Just curious what you guys think. Here are some very low quality photos that are the best I can do

It appears to be, but something about the subdial spacing looks off.

It has all the lines of text in the right place. Definitely says it's a Daytona. I don't like the look of it though. Bezel looks fat and subdials are too shiny.

Definitely 116520. I agree on subdial spacing but the picture isn’t clear so I can’t be sure.

it looks like daytona but..... something looks a tiny bit "off"
could be angle or just low quality pictures - sub dial at 3 and 9 looks like they are sitting at same level of of 3 and 9 marker which would indicate a zenith movement but there was no silver sub dial ring with zenith movement. like i said could the be the angle also in one of pics the side case and lugs just seem "big" like i said could be just the pictures. |

Is this a Daytona?
There appears to be a coronet at 12 so possibly a Daytona or a generic knockoff.
But it’s not worth us guessing... OP: ball’s in your court. You know the podcast, just email the host and ask. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Is this a Daytona?
I don’t think the hands are the thing as much as the hour indices. They look like long sticks vs the smaller “boats” we associate with a white dialed Daytona. Also the subdials placement are way off.
A side by side from the poor photo vs a known Daytona whose image I purposely degraded for comparo. Used a 116520 since no 16520 had silvered subdial rings. And here is a 16520 comparo. The subdials look different but are placed closer to the OP’s pic. But the indices are still a tell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Fun to guess. The subdials are the same line as the 3 and 9 which would indicate a zenith, but the silver rings and the short minute hand makes me think not a 16520. the 116520 has silver rings but the subdials are above the 3 and 9, and also hands are longer. I'm guessing not a Rolex. Please find out for us.

Dinky little crown and incorrect pusher placement too. It's a fakeroonie.
