Omega Seamaster Vintage

This Seamaster used to belong to my dad - if anyone cold give some input as it age, etc it would be really appreciated. I'm guessing early 60's. I also need to get it serviced and could use some recommendations preferably in NY/NJ

Cool watch and that's awesome that it belonged to your father.

I had my vintage Seamaster serviced by someone in western PA a few years ago and it still running well.

I've just sent you a PM with his info.

My father’s old watches are some of my favorites. I hope the watch brings you great joy. And separately, vintage cross hairs dials are some the coolest

Glad to see you're going to get this piece serviced, it's totally worth it, especially because of the sentimental value. Looking forward to eventually seeing the after photos.

I think you are right on age wise.
100's of small variations with dial and cases on the Seamasters.

The reference # will be located on inside back of the case.
The caliber will be stamped on the movement. 3 digit number,
