Chris, yours would look even better with a DRSD by it's side, as for mine, this is my favourite shot

Great Red Subs. Man, they are all great lookin' Rolexes. My dad and I are in the process of restoring one as part of a deployment project. Should be done in a few months, then we can contribute to these threads!

Here is the latest pic of mine. I just sent it to Bob Ridley for a spa treatment. He called yesterday to inform me that after opening the case back, he didn't think it had ever been serviced before. There was no writing on the inside of the case back and the seals, oils, and gaskets were all dry. I loved hearing that. It was music to my ears. An all original unpolished and unserviced meters first Red Sub...a 42 year old "virgin" watch. It doesn't get any better than that.

You lucky dog, Beaumont.
That mf red of yours is phenomenal. Super fat case and crown guards. Top notch. Enjoy her when she gets back from the super spa.

OK guys you have me missing mine now very much. It is back in the states in my safety deposit box with a fresh service waiting for me to return next year. Wish I could bring all of my watches with me, but it is just not an option.

Thanks. It does have some light surface scuffs here and there on the case consistent with 42 years of wear, but no signs of abuse. It is a very special watch. Bob and I agreed to leave the case in original condition. When she comes back she will have a new crystal and be in top running condition.
