Found under the seat in a theater

"Description & Conditions: Bearly used Rolex watch in Very Good Conditions.
This watch was found under the seat of a Movie Theater with no claims by anyone. That means the watch won't include the original box & documentation that normally come with it.
Until now we don't know the authenticity of the watch since it haven't been opened or touched. It's up to the buyer to accept bid on it and buy the watch from us knowing what we just explained. We won't accept these reasons for a return of the watch and reimburse of the money paid.
We are not responsible for any bad handling, content desapearance or damage & extra expenses or charges incured by the buyer's local Post Office. As precaution we always recommend to insure your item."

Nice pics! I am from just west of DC, and you have to be way careful of watches around here. Lots of hot pieces, and TONS of fakes. I am sure you have come across some yourself...

As for this one....

fake

I must say that this is one of the fakes that I have been able to tell. I don't see white gold surrounds on the dial, and they should be there on a 16610. Is there any other way to tell it is a fake?

My eBay message to him:

Hi, I might be interested in bidding on this watch. Could you please provide me with pictures of the actual watch you have for sale with the time set to 7:15, instead of the stock pictures from the Rolex website? Thanks

We'll see, but I think we already pretty much know.......

The best part is the guy is so bad a ripping people off he even lets onto how he plans to send you nothing (not even a fake watch) in the mail...then will simply refer to his item description. Pathetic...then again, if someone is dumb enough to fall for this...

I would hate it if my watch desapeared in the mail

...GREAT catch on this one...

...3 pic's from the Rolex web site, one of which he uses for the gallery shot.

...the other 2 pic's are of a COUNTERFEIT, pure and simple.

Stan.

.....G O N E R Z.....before the edit time ran out.

I found a David Yurman diamond bracelet in Las Vegas at a theater and was able to keep it. Called the casino and reported it and they called 3 weeks later and said it was mine. My wife thought it was fake at first but it was real. It can happen.
