2009 submariner with rubber dive band
I have had Citizen watches forever it seems, however I was finally able to afford my dream watch the Rolex Submariner. Unfortunately I had a hard time with the bling factor, so I had my AD install an aqualand band to it. I hope I am not banished from the forum for doing this but I like it, so here goes, Mike.

Many watch aficionados have to keep it original or nothing at all. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
I don't mind changing things up a bit as evidenced by my fondness for nato straps. Besides, it's completely reversible. Can you get some additional pics? That doesn't look bad. But it's trickier with TT's than SS models, imho. dP

Mike,thats a great looking Sub!!!!
I kinda have mixed feelings about it though..Don't get me wrong,I love the rubber dive strap but just not sure it works well with the TT!!! I to have a rubber dive on my SD and love it...I'm al for mixing it up as well...! The main thing is if you love it,thats what counts!!!! Thanks for posting the pic,I would like to see a couple more... Rob.

i see nothing wrong with this. it is an undo-able change & gives the watch a more tactical/utilitarian/minimalist appeal. well done

hey Mike...more pics would be great..
not for me on the TT I don't think...but I need to look again later! What's more interesting is why you find the TT too bling? Is that your perception of the watch you bought..or others around you?

Thanks everyone for the replys, I think the TT bracelet just didn't do it for me because my dream of owning a submariner was planted via the James Bond era. Thus, this setup is closer to that watch. Unfortunately the NATO band just doesn't trip my trigger, but the Citizen band does. Here are more pics, hope they turned out OK, Mike.
