The Florida Keys - pt. 1

Key Largo, Duck Key, Marathon, Islamorada, Bahia Honda...and of course Key West (saving that for part 2).

Couldn't have asked for better weather over Labor Day Weekend. The wild boys had a blast, of course!

Great shots Jesse.

Glad you, Mrs. Jesse, and the wild boys had a great time.

Looking forward to part 2.

Born on a beach, spent childhood years and later sub-adult ones sleeping in the sand while camping in the Keys and the Ten Thousand Islands.

Your photo’s bring back great memories and thanks for that!

Do you actually enjoy the moment or do you enjoy the photography and the posting.

Just a question I enjoy seeing photos from around the world in these times.

It's a good question!

It's both for me - photography is a hobby (truthfully, a passion at this point) for me that I get very excited about. Waking up at the crack of dawn to catch the sunrise or finding the right shot/angle is something that I very much look forward to. Sharing with you folks and my friends is just icing on the cake. Capturing memories of my kids and trips with my wife...what more could I ask for?

As far as enjoying the moment - absolutely!! I always put the camera down and make sure that I take it all in. What's the use in a good picture if you didn't actually enjoy what you took a picture of?!

If there was no social media or ways to share pictures, I'd still be doing what I do because it's what makes me happy. And I could leave the camera behind on one of our vacations...but that would make me sad.
