Gorgeous reference, the whitest of white dial and the red accents is stunning.

The caseback is absurd it obscures the high finish and the mesmerizing continuously spinning "balance wheel". Put an 18K gold GS lion logo on the rotor like the SBGA109 and maybe a splash of red if they insist.

I'm tempted to embark on a mission to get GS to convert my caseback to steel.

I like the red accents. Very nicely done.

I always thought sapphire was pretty inert, have never heard of a contact allergy to it. Wonder if you are just wearing it too tight ?

Yeah reasonable assumption but it's actually a bit loose. I'm wearing it on my smaller wrist (it's sized for the larger) and it does spend a little time stuck in place over the course of a day but not much.

It's the only sapphire caseback I give a lot of wrist time to. I have one or two others that I might try and see what happens.

New JDM-only Snowflake...SBGA421

390 is pretty limited, still not on par with Citizen AQ4020-54Z (200 pieces in red and green).

I had a Snowflake SBGA011 bought new. It had every flaw that came up over the web. Misaligned hands. Markers out of place. Their main title.... “GS”!! not in line, among other things. The QC was horrific for a $6000+ watch. Never, ever again.
