Icon11 Bottled the Ghost part-exchange;deal

As in I lost my nerve at the grey market price of £32k for the Ghost. So instead of the Ghost I’m trading in my Sea Dweller and Milgauss for a pristine 2018 Hulk.
Foolishly traded my first Hulk back in 2014, miss that beautiful sunburst dial!

My AD has me on the list for the Ghost. I’ll give it a year and see whether the itch needs scratching then!

I think you made the choice that suits yourself, so that’s all that matters .. plus I think you made the right decision ..

Are you Burford, Cotswolds ?
If yes we go each year Burford past three, stay at Prince of Burford .. I think it’s called halfway down the high street ..

I went to Burford Grammar School (as it was then called) in the 1970s.

A new GMT Master II was released on April 9th with "Black and Gray" bezel and since then there's a "I'll name that watch" frenzy on the internet.

Stormy, Coke Zero, Ghost, Charcoal...and 50 other names have been thrown out in the last 3 days.

After seeing several threads lately, with damaged gold watches, I’m not sure I’d want any Rolex with PM, though I guess that ship has sailed, since I have a TT. Maybe the gold in TT is tougher?

Is that where my lovely eggs come from?

I'm interested in the Gold dial YG version but I think I prefer the old dial so would have to pay a significant premium as ADs will only get the new model in now. £32K for that would be a steal.

That is a fantastic price for the ghost! I thought they were 5 or 6 grand £ more than that.
