I only have two watches, my modern DOXA SUB1200T and my 1967 5513, which is currently with Mr. Ridely getting the spa treatment. I told him I wanted the exterior left as is, but want it ready for every day use including diving. I don't baby my watches.

Newest watch I own is a 1968 1675. It's more of a weekend watch. I rotate the others depending on my day. They go back to a 1948 Bubbleback.

I wear my 1951 AirKing everyday. The only time I have it off is when I'm working/wrestling. I'm a pro wrestler and I don't leave it in my bag. The Doctor that travels with us wears his and mine when I'm wrestling. One on each wrist. His is a 1972 2 tone Date. He looks like a rapper with them both on his arm. But I trust him with it. Well I have to cause I married his daughter. lol

1675, Tudor 94300 and a Heuer Orange Boy. I couldn't tell you which modern watch I would wear if I could get one with a 50% discount

I wear them as much as possible. If I don't use a watch, it gets sold or gifted to a friend. I hate having pieces sitting around that I never get around to wearing. Value/conditions doesn't factor into my decision.
Right now my daily watch is a circa 1980 Speedy Pro that is completely original. Original crystal, original bezel insert, and in unpolished condition. I don't mind if I give it the odd ding here and there, it just makes it "mine". |

Almost every day. I'm not a collector, but I've grown older and so have my Rolex-- 50's TOG, 60's DJ, had a 70's GMT but gave it to a son, 80's DJ, and an early 90's Sub. I think my newest watch is a 90's GP 7000.

My 1655 is on my wrist all day, every day. I rotate between bracelets and NATOs, with the nylon getting most of the wrist time.

I've been wearing a 1603 Datejust evey day since I bought it in Sep 1968. That includes every day aroung the house, camping and hunting trips, etc; we even snow mobile to and from our cabin all winte. All that until I got my fathers 1018 Oyster Perpetual last month. So now I alternate them. Both are in better condition than most of the older Rolexes I see advertised; but they've been worn and taken care of in use.

Spent the better part of all day yesterday free diving with my 1680 on yesterday, today we do a wreck in 120, yes with the 1680. Who am I saving it for? I buy Rolex, I wear Rolex, I never pamper Rolex. Fresh water bath after, and onto the next day

My vintage isnt all that special (16013 TT DJ) Not very collectable and not worth all that much .. My father bought it new in 1984 and passed it down to me when he passed .. That makes it special, and I wear it almost everyday

Wife and I wear them everyday
I've worn my 1603 Datejust almost every day since I bought it new in 1968. Worn it to work, camping, hunting, everywhere. My wife wears either her stainless date (1965) or her gold datejust (1975) daily.

How does this part of the forum define vintage? Does my 1972 Explorer I qualify? (BTW, I bought it in 1977, had been on the shelf for 5 years, not the most popular watch in that day. As usual, I was a little ahead of the curve (but not as much as my brother who bought a cosmograph a few months later). I have worn it day and night 99% of the time since, period.)
