Maybe, but I haven't seen many either. It is 23 years old, so although 'modern' it must have had some use and weathering. This is why I fell in love with it - the creamy patina on the hour plots and in the bezel pearl are gorgeous, IMHO, along with a very sharp case and that sexy insert.

Hi, thanks - yes, the GMT & SUB are on suede. I got them from this guy in Italy, whom I found on VRF: Massimiliano (Login tantovincoio). Just go to the VRM and do a search for 'Suede and leather handmade Italian NATO straps'
