during the 1970s, Rolexes were more far esoteric than today & prices somewhat reasonable (albeit expensive at the time).

the 1980s changed all of that with the advent of the yuppies & their upwardly-mobile tastes/spending habits.

It would seem that rock music and cars peaked in 1970. I am par to Rolex and Tudor from 70-80 as well!
