Contacted one sales person at the SG boutique and he also said they have been instructed to stop accepting deposits as they need to fulfill the previous orders first. However he said he will put me on the waitlist.

I asked about the Dual Time and he said there shouldn't be any issues with that. Was thinking if i could ask for a discount on the DT and i can commit to it instead of waiting forever on the 3 hander blue dial

Can you ask for a discount at the boutique?

Just laid down the deposit for this one. They say I'll have it in a week or so (Costa Mesa to Las Vegas).

I have had the white / silver dial dual time for 8-9 months now and it really gets the lion's share of wrist time, mainly on the blue rubber strap.

Does anyone own multiple overseas variants? If so, which ones?

I had originally been attracted to the blue dial 3-hander, but fell for the silver dual time and got a great deal on it.

I don’t think I would go for the blue in steel now, but the rose gold has carved out a permanent spot on the wish list for the next major life event that could justify it in the next few years.

I am also taken by the titanium dual time that sounds like will come as a [limited?] production model this year, but two overseas dual times might be a bit much?

I came for the blue and fell in love with the black one. Still on 4500V list.

Heads up - if anyone is seeking blue 5500 chrono (the hot one), I might be able to connect you to one becoming available (at AD boutique) next week.

Can you share more about the deal for the silver dual time?

I bought it here (Russia) at an AD that as a rule does not change the price on in-stock pieces even if the MSRP goes up. So I got a 15% discount on their price, which worked out at about 23-25% below the list price after the increase had been put through at the boutique.

Unfortunately for my wallet, it seems like the AD is being phased out by VC as they now only have 2 VCs in stock. But for my heart I am not that upset as the VC boutique guys give amazing service.

Do you folks think 4500V blue prices will start to increase now?

Yes for sure. As the RO now races away toward $30-40K+ people will see the value and higher finish you get with VC.

I own a blue dial 4500V and love it so I am not looking to sell it. I just looked on some sites like Chrono24 and they have this watch selling for over $30K. Is that really what people are buying these for now? It makes me feel better about my investment that's for sure.

C24 prices are over inflated,

Still, it's a great watch to have.

They are consistently in the high 20s now. With higher demand and more controlled supply, it is only going in one direction...

Agree. I have a 15400, black dial and as much as I like it, it does not get close to the overseas in terms of wrist time. I have never sold a watch, but with the price moves on even non-blue dial 15400 i would definitely give some serious consideration to moving it on.

For me the overseas offers the perfect combination of wearability, quality watchmaking and still being somewhat under the radar for the general public to earn prime spot in 1, 2, 3 or 33 watch collection.

Hi guys,

I've been enjoying reading and seeing photos of VCO on this thread, which triggered me to strongly consider adding a 4500V of either the Blue dial or the discon bronze dial model in the near future.

Any owners or non-owners who has seen in person of either or both version of dial provide some insight comments of preference.

Thx in advance.

Cheers

Gorgeous chrono! Congratulations! Just wish AP note the date window should be bang on middle between 4 and 5 with their 38mm chrono! If I got a bigger wrist this Oversea chrono will be my choice too!
