The perils of desk diving. Mine are all the same way. My advice would be to selectively ignore the scratches and enjoy.

That sucks. Just use a green brillo pad to buff it and it’ll go away. If you care to.

You have 4 choices.

1. Ignore the scratches and live life.
2. Constantly rebrush the clasp to keep it Pristine.
3. Replace the clasp with an aftermarket sacrificial clasp (But this kind of defeats the purpose of having a Rolex Clasp)
4. Put a protective sticker on the clasp....

Isn't there some type of cover or sticker that you could put on the MacBook?

If you seen my SD after over 600 hours underwater using my watch as a real working tool I think you might of had a heart attack. Those very very miniscule marks on your watch, just like my real substantial scratches on my working tool watch, easily rectified at normal routine service.

That's the least of your worries. Send us pictures after you've worn it for a year.

Are you maybe wearing it too loose? Either way, many more marks to come. Those first marks sting a little.

It’s a watch, you wear it.

You should see the desk dives in my watch

It’s like being concerned about your tires wearing out in your car. Get used to it.

Hairline scratches can be removed easily, not worth worrying about it

It happens. The clasp is notorious for scratching up. Get used to it! Don't polish it off, otherwise you'll be polishing forever.

Above all, Peter, please keep your SD from a MacBook!!!

It is more hazardous to your watch

Anodized aluminum will totally scratch the stainless steel. My macbook is the number one culprit of scratches. Ano is quite a bit harder that stainless, surprising but unfortunately true.

Enjoy your watch! I’ve done the same to both SS and PM Rolex on my MB Pro. It happens.

Tried my best to keep my watches scratch free but failed dismally, the only way they will ever stay scratch free is if they never come out of the box, and what is the point of that.

Wear your watch, enjoy your watch and don't worry about the scratches, life is too short.

If you did that in a week you’ll certainly get more very quickly. Just need to learn to live with it.

You can get it touched up at service. My advice:
- live with it OR
- pull your sleeve over your watch when typing
- remove your watch if not able to use a long sleeve
- just be a little more wrist conscious

I don't have Rolex, but that happend the very first time I used my Macbook Pro and my Planet Ocean...

So far (knock on wood) I've been much more conscious of it with my new Speedmaster and have not scratched the clasp. Yet.

I did manage to scratch the Hesalite on day one though

That happened to me first day of wearing my GMT. Never again did I ever come close to a Mac Pro while wearing any watch

Beauty marks! In all honesty the scratches are character showing the watch being worn. I think polishing is a way worse sin than normal wear and tear. A dent in the case is a different thing, but scratches show a life well lived.
