Panerai 233 Straps

Delighted to have bought a dot dial 233 and now about to personalise with some straps. Like the Di Stefano straps albeit they are a bit more expensive than others but I guess quality comes at a price!
Interested to hear from any owners what the gator straps are like for comfort or should the 233 be better sticking with leather.

You might wanna take a look at combat straps (canada) and maddog (germany). For exotic material, imo, i think these two makers are very good. Also, you could get canvas straps and FYI, ammo is like a must for a panerai.

I have a DiStefano leather diving strap. It’s beautiful but not that comfortable. I found the strap keepers dig in my wrist and have removed one. I ordered the thicker strap so perhaps my fault. I also have a Vintager strap (Micah) and I can only describe it as wearing your watch on slippers. It’s absolutely beautiful and soft and I haven’t taken it off for a couple of months. I also love the OEM green canvas. DiStefano pictured first, then Vintager.

I would say Maya Berlin or Corrigia...make sure they are not thicker than 3 1/2 mm and get with flat buckle...you will be very pleased

Pretty happy with wearing mine on OEM black gator. I also have a dark blue OEM gator as well. Happy with both of them to say.

Another vote for Micah's straps. I really admire his shark skin leather ones.
