First Panerai

Went on a trip of a lifetime to Italy about a month ago and was fortunate enough to go to Florence for two days. I’ve always like titanium Luminors and of course went to the boutique to see if I could pick up a keep sake I can enjoy the rest of my life. Ended up with a 564. I also can’t say enough about the customer service at the Florence boutique. They really make you feel like the most important person in the world right from the beginning. I was also lucky to receive a strap and a shoe horn as a gift. On my way out they tried to give me an umbrella since it was raining but I had to turn that down. Much different from a Rolex store. The best part is my receipt and paperwork are in Italian even though I can’t read it. LOL

Great choice! Congrats. Of the new 8-day Luminors, the 564 if my personal favorite (I like the Ti and brown dial).

Congratulations! What an amazing experience, to be able to get the watch at the Florence boutique. If I ever make it to Italy, that will definitely be a destination for me. The Titanium Luminor, mine is a 562 (without small seconds at 9), and I find the combination of the titanium and brown dial is the best. And, the 8 day movement is very accurate. And the water resistance is 300M.

Hope you enjoy the watch and the purchase memories for years to come!

Cheers,
Carl

Congrats. Just came back from Florence myself and agree with the hospitality at the boutique. Top notch and very welcoming. Couldn’t decide between a 944 and 946 so didn’t bring one home unfortunately. Maybe next time.
