Rapturous Review of 5205

A breathlessly positive, if somewhat stumbling, review of the estimable 5205G. The reviewer is earnest albeit a bit uninformed of the rap world. Hope you enjoy.

While the 5205 seems to get less love around here, with much more attention going toward the sports models etc, I still find the 5205R to be a stunningly good looking unit, especially with the opaline white dial (which I own) as well as the black dial.

See Tim Mosso give the 5205R-001 the full treatment here:

I recently picked up a 5205G-013 (blue dial) and absolutely love it, mesmerized by it's beauty...I can sit for 10 minutes watching the minute hand sweep around. Blue dial is captivating. The case is perfection.

I actually prefer it to my Nautilus 5726-1a.

(I wish I could post pix but whenever I try it says resize your photo...I just use an iPad and too much of a headache to do things like that. How is all your photos are less resolution but look so good??)

It was well received here for a dressy piece with its unique concave and art deco stylings, but then got swallowed up by the sports, esp once prices took off.
