I always though one was enough when I obtained my 1665.
Then I saw the 114060 when it appeared in 2012.
One Rolex is never enough - that's such a sad thing to say

Agree. The lugs don't photograph well but looks and feels proper on the wrist.

Glad I own one. I’ll take it over the date version any day.

I thought I wanted this over the Date because of the symmetry and readability, but now that I have the Date, it has grown on me over the "no date". Oddly enough, I didn't look at the date function on my previous watch nearly as much as I do on the Sub Date, which is why I'm glad I have it available.

There's some truth to it. Looks much better on the wrist than in pictures. The opposite is true of the white dial ceramic Daytona: super photogenic, but looks hideous when at look at my wrist in the mirror at the gym. Close ups are beautiful but not from a distance. The white dial surrounded by a black bezel makes it look like a toy watch when the subdials become imperceptible.

agreed. I always enjoy strapping mine on after a short hiatus. Clean and classic look. It’s The Icon For a reason

I can totally see that, even though I have yet to see a ceramic Panda in person.

New here and this is fav Rolex. I bought a DJ, and on the so called list for this. I am hoping it will come in Jan for my Bday or by late spring when I start my new gig at work.

When it comes to list do these have a shorter list over the date version of the Sub?

2 years ago I had my choice of a Sub ND, Sub Date or Black GMT. I chose the Sub ND and before picking it up I changed my mind, called my AD the next day and said I’ll take the Sub Date instead. It has been on my wrist through a lot in the past couple of years and it’s an amazing watch but every time I see a pic of the Sub ND I wonder if I made the right choice.

Yes great watch. Something very pleasing about not having to worry about setting or keeping up the date.

Pretty close to THE perfect 3-hander!

mine is after 1 year and 2 months of owning and wearing every day, plus 0.7 fast.

I am not talking about 0.7 a day, 0.7 seconds a year.

So this is a dream watch for me. I always look for IWC top gun to add but than I look at my wrist and I can not take this out. This watch is addictive.

I recently sold my SubC with a date. I am on a list to get this one. I like the date on a GMT but for some reason prefer the Submariner without one.

Yes, precisely the reasons I chose my 14060 over the date version back in 1996! Clean dial, perfect symetry and legibility. Okay, the tritium lume is all but dead now, but I don't care, and if I really need to know the time in pitch darkness I have an iPhone!
