New BLNR vs previous model

Hi everyone,
Does the new blnr on jubilee have slimmer lugs vs the original one on oyster? I’ve read that it’s a touch slimmer but not really noticeable.
Thank you!

People say they’re slightly thinner but I can’t tell a difference.

I hear the jubilee is slightly thinner- Just picked up a oyster version and really like it better than jubilee

Lots of threads on the subject. In all practical sense, there’s no difference. I think it wears different and slightly smaller on a jubilee vs. the oyster bracelet and to me that’s the biggest difference

I have a question somewhat related. Can you fit a new style jubilee on the older Batman?

I did the opposite. I have numerous oyster bracelet but not many jubilee. I traded my BLNR oyster for a BLNR jubilee. Having the BLRO changed my mind on my BLNR.

I don't see a difference in the lug size.

You can definitely place a now discontinued super jubilee (with the hidden clasp) on an older BLNR. It really looks great IMHO. I just had my AD order me one after seeing the combo recently at a watch dinner.

Marginally different. Probably just more to do with blending the Jubilee better with the case.

If there is a difference, it's definitely not as dramatic as a 5 digit Sub vs a 6 digit Sub. That's for sure. Any change is virtually imperceptible.

This is why I doubt we'll see any significant lug size changes when or if the new Submariner comes out.

Thanks for everyone’s input and links to the previous threads. I believe I saw a recent post of a member acquiring a oyster bracelet to use on the Pepsi ceramic. An option I would like to have when I want a sporty vs dressy appearance.

Both BLNR models are rock stars with different voices. You won’t see any lug difference. It’s more a matter of the new movement and bracelet.

Feels great on my wrist. The jubilee is very comfortable! Like a glove

It’s a righteous piece.

Boom
