East West maybe. But North South is bottom heavy with those 4 lines of blurb.

The 4 lines are on most modern Rolex watches, including SS professional. I’ve come to appreciate it, especially on late generation Submariner 14060Ms and 114060s.

Not sure I would use the Sub as the perfect picture of symmetry based on the hash marks only being on the first 15 minutes of the bezel.

Yes 5 digit Subs are beautifully proportioned

The 4/5’digits maybe. The 6 digit with circle on square look as well as a bracelet that appears
to narrow. The older references the bracelet and case joined seamlessly and now looks quite disjointed.

I have always liked the looks of the Submariner ND. I like the balance of the dial.

Sorry but this is as close to perfection as Rolex gets with symmetry

why do they write so may things on the dial is beyond me.

why they write officially certified? or superlative chronometer.

They already give us a green seal same thing. I dont like too many writings on a watch.

Good point. Especially when you consider that the watch is no longer officially certified after its first service.

Symmetry? Did yours come without a crown or guards?

You are correct. My first Rolex 40 years ago and I remember the first time I saw one at a jewelry store, I could not believe how perfect the watch looked. Plus in those days it came with a little anchor...DEAL!

I think you only get four lines on the sub (and DS variants). GMT is three lines.

Daytona is five lines but somehow it just works without looking cluttered.

The five digit two line sub is perfection. The four liners I’ve never quite warmed to as much.

I don't understand this post. The sub is as symmetrical as a thousand other watches and things.

I agree and one of the main reasons I do not like a date function on my watch

When enthusiasts talk about the symmetry of submariner they are referring to the dial, specifically the markers. No interruption of a cyclops or date window.
