Whenever I see this guy I think of the video of him with the Latin America AP RO PC “it’s a heavy hittah”

I think the information is reasonably valuable for the uniformed. He’s really only regurgitating what we already know here.

If he is seeing some watch prices soften, why should we not believe him? This hype-fueled Rolex price rocket is bound to lose some momentum eventually.

Back to late 2017, you can search YouTube and tons of young kids telling you to invest in this and that coin and you can make a lot of money. How true is their recommendation? The current price of all these coins indicate how accurate these recommendation. Watch is not for investing and it is for enjoyment.

All you have to do is go look at the classifieds here. Jubilee Batman’s were $20,000, now 16-17k range. Oyster Batman’s were 15-16k, now getting to the 13k range. Two tone subs and gmts going for under retail. I’ve been following for awhile now, and it does appear there are more stainless models hitting the ad’s. Thought it was crazy how these were going so much over retail. Glad though and just in time, getting close to my 30th birthday.

What about the 114060 that's listed for over $9.5k? I don't think we can extrapolate based on small sample size.

I do believe that the prices have been dipping slightly from where they were a couple of months ago. However, prices fluctuate on the seasons and are likely to go back to what they were. Also, the economy plays a big role. I don’t think the recent downtrend is anything to read into.

He is a big gray dealer. He would know better than most of us - he is at the very front line of the market.

There’s one listed that started at $9,200 and now down to $8,800 and presumably unsold. Still over retail but down. 116610’s a couple months ago were in the 12k range now in the 10k range. If a rookie in the Rolex game, but from my perspective prices are coming down.

Take a look at World events. The Chinese economy is being affected by high US tariffs. What's going on in Hong Kong? If the Chinese buyer stops grabbing up Rolex's. Those Watches will begin to show up at Your Local AD. Then What? Just Sayin. I have what I want. Here's Hoping You do too.

He’s not my style but I agree with him on prices dropping. Like some have mentioned the prices in the classifieds are lower than last year and many seem to have endless amounts of bump post. Not very scientific but I’m sure if I cared enough to compile the data I could prove my theory.

Its not going to take a lot to kick prices down..
World recession on the horizon..
Europe and China/HK in trouble..
Tariffs..nothing but trouble..
I've noticed in my business..spending is down for 3rd Qtr..
People are holding onto their cash..
Bottom line..no one needs a Rolex..
When the S*** hits the fan..look for deals..
If you want to spend the dough..
Which you probably wont..lol..

It is funny everyone hoping for a recession to get a watch. They should be focused on adding more income producing assets like real estate, stocks, or expanding their business. Buy what you want or have assets that pay for your wants.

Enough said
