this is a recreation of the famous panerai kampfschwimmer from WWII. it was made for special forces divers in WWII with sterile dials so the manufacture wouldn't be known if they were captured. It really might be the most iconic as this was a dial and case that saw service. I love this watch, even if this history is a little, well, uncomfortable...
