I am working towards:

- 126710BLRO
- 5712a
- 15407st

I might be tempted to sneak a 116500 in there and not tell OP about it

One ceramic bezel - GMT LN
One smooth bezel - Explorer
One fluted bezel - Datejust

Waiting on the Explorer to return from the spa. Will post pictures when the trio lands.

Today’s my first day back!! These 3 held me down for a long time! But I just added an Explorer II because I missed a GMT. Gave up my 16710 for $6000 when this crazy addiction took off!!

Ideally you want three 3 watch collections. 8-10 is a good number to have your bases covered and most itches scratched

This is one of my favorite threads. I love to see all the big collectors being put to the test and being forced to pick their favorite 3.

It must be a great place to be in a collectors lifespan (3 watches) as they are probably all going to see good wrist time and likely have a clear purpose for each watch.

For me, it would be:

DJ41 - fluted bezel, jubilee, blue stick dial
TT SD
IWC Big Pilot 'Boutique London' Edition

I have my BLNR for everyday and a Tag Aquaracer (30th birthday present) that will always keep and would love a white face 116500 LN and that would be me happy. I've been on a list for one since it was released but imagine its never going to happen.

That said, a Nautilus 5711 blue face would be an amazing watch to own as well....!

My current 3 watch collection. Not much to speak of but I love them all & they make me proud. They all have a story attached to them and I will never part with any of them.

Raymond Weil Parsifal MOP diamond dial Quartz - 2008 (First watch over £1k)
Oris Classic Moon Phase - 2010 (First automatic watch)
DJ41 - 2020 (First luxury watch and grail Rolex)

The Oris is going in for a service next week to get polished and to fix the sub dial (it's been knocked off the wrist by the DJ). It's had a few dings over the years & is long overdue some TLC.
