What's MSRP for the regular (non-diamond) 116506 now?

Last time I checked was USD 75k. But that was before Jan 2020 increase.

I think the diamond dial here in Toronto is about $98k CAD MSRP before 13% tax...

The 2020 US MSRP is $75,650.00 USD. I inquired from my AD in late FEB.2020.

On another note, this is probably one of THE best threads here! Platinum Daytona is the ultimate dream - it is SUCH a beautiful watch!!! Definitely holy grail for me. But $75K is a lot of money. lol.

Not a fan of sports watches at all, but I really love the platinum daytona. Don't think I could bring myself to pick one up anywhere near the asking price, though. I'm too cheap!

Are these comfortable to wear for long stretches of time? I borrowed my brothers deep sea and it hurt my wrist.

FWIW, I use my platinum President as a daily piece at different times of year. Not as bulky a case as the Platona, but still wears great.

The heft is also a one of the factors of sense of occasion associated with this watch,

I’ve pretty much worn this daily since the day I got it over 3 years ago.

Do you guys think there's anyone out there who has put the 116500 dial+bezel on a 116506? Ultimate sleeper!

I’ve considered doing this with just the black bezel since I LOVE the platona except I hate brown. But it just feels wrong at the same time.

I still have several watches but the Pt is my favorite. I let go of 18 watches when I got the Daytona.

Thank you! I’ve tried to replace it with others that I “thought” might give me more enjoyment or pride (PP, AP, SARU, etc...)
Nope....nothing takes its place

That’s the nicest picture I have seen of the diamond dial 116506.It looks spectacular but as you will well know it’s even nicer in the flesh!

It’s nearly 5 years now since I sold my entire watch collection to buy just this one piece and I still have no regrets and love it the same as the day I bought it.

There is no other Rolex I would change it for.
