What is your daily watch?
What is your daily watch? Why is he chosen? Why do you prefer it over others?

Explorer 2 polar. (Orange hand)
Clear dial, right size and easy to read. Chose over others as it’s so comfortable. |

I have other Rolex and other watches but my daily watch is my humble Datejust 16234 (31 years old, 1989).
I prefer it for its comfort and its classic design |

It's a toss up between my Sub-C and GMT-C, specifically for their functionality and loves how it sits on my wrist.

PEPSI 16710.
It's my Travel / Work / All around everyday watch. Supremely comfortable. Robust as hell. Looks great with anything and everything. I have several pieces that I will throw in for daily / weekend but NONE have come close to the pepsi for me in terms of everyday usability. I like my ceramic daytona as well, but edge still goes to the 5 digit pepsi (and it also has a date). |

Was/is the 16610 for about ten years now, but got this one two weeks ago and it’s getting a lot of love. A lot.

For me it's the 114060. It's no nonsense, goes with everything and can withstand anything I put it through.

My 20 yr old 16600. Easy to wear. Sea-Dweller was my first love 30 years ago. Couldn't afford it then, got the 5513, the entry level 40mm professional. Upgraded to SD eventually. Own many Rolex watches but the SD is my go to.

16710 pepsi and 16600 seadweller get the majority of wrist time.
16710 gets more due to comfort and insert color changes.

My SubC. Robust, historic, classy--great military history. But would prefer a new Pepsi GMTII if I could get my hands on one. Would be my one watch if a one watch guy.

My grail watch, acquired after decades of dithering, is my daily driver. No safe queens for me. I won't own a watch I'm afraid to wear.

My daily is my 16700 Pepsi, to me it is an iconic Rolex and the Pepsi GMT was the first model, as a teenager, that always made me notice a Rolex either on TV or on someone's wrist or in a shop window. My others are lovely watches but might only get used once in a while.

When I found the one I wanted the hands and dial had almost no lume left. With it's unknown service history and my plans to wear it all the time for the next 20 years I decided to send it to the Dallas RSC for overall service. I wanted new hands for lume and the dial needed to match, so both were replaced. Kills collector's resale value but then that was never a factor for me. Before sending it out for service I swapped in a replacement bezel insert knowing Rolex would flag it for replacement. I had the bezel off to fix the bezel spring that was out of place and making turning the bezel impossible in one direction. Sure enough, Rolex identified the bezel insert as aftermarket and quoted me a price of just $70 to replace it with a correct insert. Done! When I got the watch back after maybe 6 weeks it looked like it did in 2000 when it was new. And I had a new smile on my face!

114200 OP 34 Olive Green Dial
My wrist is on the smaller side so the 34mm case fits perfectly. I chose it due to its under the radar look and full brushed (except for the sides) oyster bracelet. Such a great watch to wear everyday! |

16610. Was a gift from my mother Christmas 98/99. It looks good in all circumstances, has a date and ability to measure elapsed time-both of which I need for my job. I do have a speedy pro, but gets maybe 2/3 days per week while the sub gets the majority and has been on my wrist more days than not over the past 20+ years in great times and in sad times.
