This or that?

PAM01316 has a new bracelet

PAM01313 is the same watch but on a gator strap

Your opinion matters

I’m a sucker for great bracelets. And I didn’t love the new bracelet on this one. But it’s not bad either. I’d go with the bracelet option if you’re even considering it. You can always swap to straps later.

I have the 1313.
The bracelet does nothing for me.
I'm no purist, but for me, Panerai is all about the straps.

I'm not a purist either. This will hopefully be my first PAM.
I just think that 300m WR is not very consistent with alligator strap...

So, how do you like this watch?

Bracelet option always allows you more versatility with adding the strap. Much cheaper than adding the bracelet later. Panerai bracelets, while large are freaking awesome.

I have the 01033 GMT and got the bracelet months later. Imho you really want the bracelet to add versatility. Straps are inexpensive and easy to get.

How much do the steel bracelets go for when purchasing from panerai? For some reason, the price isn't popping up when I search the website.

$1500 or so. Forget the exact $. I did try three different ~$100 versions, they all either didn't fit right or felt cheap. Get the OEM

I really like the look of the CG bracelet, but, for me, PAMs on straps. YMMV.

This...I would always opt for the bracelet version of the watch and get more straps for it later. Always good to have an option.

The bracelet is heavy and just doesn't look right. Pams on leather all the way. I don't like the blue alligator strap at all either. Get the 1313 then have a proper guy like Da Luca or Greg Stevens make you a strap.

This or that?

My brother in law bought the 42mm blue a few months ago and did not touch his Rolex since.... see pics from his wrist.
Awesome bracelet, is his and mine opinion.

If you think you'll wear it on the bracelet, get the 1616 for sure and add straps.

If they are both the same price and you like the bracelet, get the 1316 and add a strap later. It's always cheaper to go this route than the other way.

1316 and buy the strap as well. Bracelet is costing you 1k and when bought on its own 1.5k.

As others have said - get the one 1316 if you want to wear it on bracelet as it is more expensive to add later.

I bought the 1313 but don't intend on adding the bracelet.

Great watch by the way.
