Watch strap recommendation

All:

I’m having a surprisingly difficult time ordering a high-quality custom watch strap in suede/nubuck for my 5146p.
  • I ordered a strap from ABP Concept, and it was poorly made and not to specification.
  • I contacted Jean Rousseau, and they said they do not carry suede or nubuck in calfskin, only alligator.
  • I contacted Molequin, and they said they could not make 1mm strap holes, which my PP deployant looks like it requires.
Can anyone offer a recommendation on a maker? I was hoping to avoid the massive wait on ordering from PP directly.

You can try Camille Fournet or get custom made directly from Patek.

CF does not have grey suede or nubuck unfortunately.

Those are the three best options I know. Maybe give ABP another chance? I’ve had great straps from all three for years.

I’ve been impressed with Molequin and Monstraps. The strap in the pic is from Molequin.

Combat Straps in Montreal. Aaron Pimentel (Combat Straps) has done two nubuck straps for my Pateks, I am very happy with them both.

Are you able to put the Patek spade buckle on your strap? It would look nicer, I think.

I was happy with doing custom straps through Patek. Just takes some time...

Yes but with this buckle I get a perfect fit so I’m sticking with it for now.

Couldn’t do the proper holes for my deployant.

I ordered a strap from Delugs. We’ll see how it turns out!

I had a custom made, for size, calf skin from Cartier, took five weeks. Try the Watch Prince.com. He’s in NYC and he always has straps, bracelets from high quality strap makers.

I got my Delugs strap. I’m very satisfied and will absolutely order from them again.
