Panerai blue dial

I really want a blue dial Panerai but the only ones I can find for sale used or new are very expensive. Can anyone explain this to me? Why such a premium because it’s blue?

There are some affordable blue dials like 69,70,283...just google the older blue dial references,I missed on a watch only 69 asking only 2800 usd from a reputable seller...

They are worth every penny

I paid over retail for this piece and didn't hesitate as I loved it from the moment I saw it.

When I stop in at our Panerai boutique they always tell me they still get calls from risti's who are after this reference.

Are the 1028 and 1058 blue dials boutique exclusives?

No. I’ve seen them at a boutique and an AD. Tried on the 1028 today at the boutique and it was amazing. I think going with the bracelet is the way to go since they will also take the leather and rubber straps but the strap models can’t except the bracelet.
