Budgety is a quite apt discription of the direction Richemont are taking some of the Paneral line, making buying one even more difficult with out some significant research.
Well the name ''due'' makes my stomach turn so i was about to avoid these ones allready.
Anyway i clearly see i lack tons of education in this brand...……… Can you give me a short description what true Panerai really is? Damn, i feel like a first day watch owner :/
Anyway, i really really like the idea of adding 1 to my collection, they have just something really nice. Now i need start to educate myself on this brand and temporary pause my Rolex obsession? LOL

372 was announced in 2011 and 422 was announced in 2012,so I see these two as still a safe, older Panerai, probably I should say that I’d avoid pam 600+ (yes that includes the 690,720,721,911 but none of them actually wow me,probably I’ve been in this Panerai thing too long...)

Personally 2011 is my favorite year for Panerai with 372,original bronzo, the two destros, gmt submersible, the two composites, precious metal big radiomirs etc...

Great thread. I've been looking at getting my first Pam recently as well. The 560 was the one I liked best from a quick try on of the models at the ad.

Pretty sure that one still has the 300m water resistance.

Everyone has an opinion...my wrist is 6.75. If your wrist is “flatish” you should give a 47mm a try . Normal rule of thumb is to try to minimize the lugs hanging way over the wrist. I like manual winds, long power reserves, sandwich dials, sapphire crystals (domed preferably), with see through case backs.... you want something that’s different than your Rolex.. right??
