After trying one in December/2017, I knew I would buy it someday.

At first, I wanted the titanium version, but after seeing the steel version I got hooked!

The color is very different from any other steel watch I know, because it is gold and palladium coated, giving it a greyish tint. The matte finish keeps it under the radar, giving a industrial look to it.

As for the wearability, it is fantastic. The bracelet is extremely comfortable, the adjustment is precise and the 3 last links are hollow to conceal the clasp.

The first two pictures were taken in a closed environment and the third was under direct sunlight, so you can see it’s hue varies according to the light, going from grey to silver.

Congrats on the pickup. Given that the steel version of Octo Finissimo is palladium & rhodium-plated, are scratches very pronounced?

What do people think of the rose gold version?

I have a family member who works at Bulgari and was told discounts come around...but I will have to try it on, of course.

For what it's worth, you may want to try David SW if you are looking. He is able to source new Bulgari and his pricing was quite good.

25% straight from an AD is fairly easy. I honestly think this will not be the case in 3-4 years. They are doing so many things right. They already have a strong brand unlike many innovative watchmakers. Even sheep know the Bulgari name. It just takes a few big influencers to start wearing them. The WIS already know.

I would love to try it on. I bet the thin case combined with gold is a unique wrist presence.

Big congrats! It’s a killer piece. Picking mine up next week. The ss, in that combination of metals, it’s like nothing I have seen in the past... that sheen is hard to describe.

For sure. Eric is more a WIS influencer than a sheep herder though. They need Quavo to bust one down and wear it to the met gala. but not really that's the sort of thing that got the nautilus rolling hard the last 2 years. Maybe Kevin Hart will get one and they will follow.

Very true, but for those that don’t have an AD in their area, it may be a good option at a price significantly lower than what was discussed above.

Either way, I agree it’s a great watch. I am very happy with mine.

100% agree with Ku as a true WIS Influencer! Though, it is a matter of time before some rappers start busting down this piece...Jewelers will need to be very creative with gemstone setting skills though...haha

I have the steel version which I love and got alot of attention at Watch Time event. I tried on the rose gold version at boutique and absolutely loved it. Very different coloration than regular rose gold. Did not look vulgar or too pretentious at all. Really an awesome watch.

No, so far there arent any pronounced scratches! I am finding the case to be very resistant against regular wear

I tried one on. The sand blast look is subtle and I think it makes a solid gold watch a lot more wearable.

Anyone out there been wearing this watch for longer than a few weeks/months? I've seen a few used examples for sale with uneven or spotty discoloration on the case and bracelet and am wondering if the coating on the steel is prone to developing this over time.

The new one with blue dial is really nice. Not sure if it is a limited edition.
