1675- 1978 year band question

I find the knowledge and wisdom of this Courm is endless. I now need to rely on that knowledge. I have a opportunity for a 1675 gmt with a 5 million ser#. (1978) However I know the band is Rolex but not original. That is holding me back. Can anyone answer what endlinks ( 580?) and what band is correct oyster for this model year or what end links and jubilee band is correct for this year.
Than you in advance.
Dudman

For my 1977, this is what I have:

GMT 1675 - 7206 58 / 7836 280 / 78360 580 / 6251 55 / 62510 H 550

The correct bracelet for your GMT would be a 78360 with 580 end links.

How interesting. I was about to post the same for a 1960 GMT-Master 1675. Anyone know what the bracelet and end links should be for that?

The Jubilee 6251 used 50 end links for GMTs. 55 end links were for Datejusts.

The USA-made C&I Oyster was also available during 1978 which had end links that were attached to the bracelet. The end links did not have the typical end link numbers stamped on them.

In the UK either a 6636 or 7206 with 58 end links, but that early it would not be stamped with 7206 or 6636 it would just a clasp code. Hope that makes sense?

Either a Swiss or American oyster rivet or a folded jubilee with 50 ends.
