I saw this watch on watch recon and it looked like an amazing deal. I was hoping to pick it up as a gift for my dad but have never seen this site before so im a bit weary to purchase. could anyone help me determine the legitimacy of the post?

It’s possible seller wants a quick sale.

Also possible it’s a scam.

Always buy the seller.

that's the thing, seller says he has references but I haven't seen any yet lol.

anything posted on Chronocentric, Timezone these days is 99% a scam. Very low price, seller only accepts bank wire. Obvious tells to this being a scam, I would strongly advise against buying. I've said it before, I really don't understand how Chronocentric can allow Scams to run so rampant on their site. you don't see the level of fraud on WUS, TRF. I think if Chronocentric just took an additional step or 2 to verify watch you wouldn't see so many scams. Sometimes I feel they are complicit in allowing these thieves to flourish on naive buyers.

From the ad itself and the style of photos, seems pretty obvious this isn't his first rodeo.
So that would likely rule out the 'highly motivated' seller notion.

Your guy lists quite a few watches for sale. I’ve also seen that some say shipping by USPS only and others say face to face in Mexico. Good luck! :)

yep, I saw that too after doing some research. When I asked for references, he just gave me some emails that could be his for that matter.

On a side note, does anyone on the forum have a similar watch for sale? ill be checking the sale posts but if anyone sees this, feel free to DM me.
