Early 90’s black dials. There are some articles on Bobs Rolex about them specifically

Did a quick google search..

https://daytonainfo.watch/eras/zenith/

http://www.drsd.com/watch-info/dayto...zi-dials-.html

“ There is some discussion about the black dialed S, N, T and W serial Daytonas which from a manufacturing defect the color of the subdials faded to brown or chocolate colors. Its postulated that this color shift has happened due to ultraviolet ligth exposure and the materials used by Rolex at time.”

Correct! Plenty of discussion over there about 16520s and on VRF, even though these Daytonas would not be considered "vintage."
