I mean the dimensions have been messed with. The new bracelet is not an exact scaled up version of the 20mm ones. It has a pissy thin centrelink. Not a huge deal but no one asked for it.

Lol I have no idea if we are taking about the same thing! If you mean the bracelet, and going from left to right, there are 3 defined links. The center on the TT is gold. That center link is wider than each end link. Are we talking about the same thing?

No my friend. The 20mm Oyster bracelet is utterly iconic. The new one despite being bigger has thinner centrelinks in proportion to the outer links. It doesn't look like the Oyster of the previous few decades. I just noticed.

Thanks for the response. All I know is I like it and waiting for the new bluesy. But I also like my 114060 and would also like the 5 digit Kermit someday. Like them all, but really like the thicker bracelet on the new sub!

I like them. I hate to pick at it but I am one of the pickier folks on here. No one else seems to have noticed.

Listen I get it. I don’t know why I care about the little details, but I do and appreciate others that do as well! You always have good insight. Love the Rolex brand. An expensive, but terrific hobby!

Shall we just agree on 1mm and move on......
The slimmer lugs are noticeable on the 41 without comparing. The bracelet, not so much. It really is of no importance unless it is available to purchase.

I didn't mean to spoil it for anybody for when it is.

The center links look the same to me on both, the outer links look wider on the new one. ?

I do like the thinner lugs, but without seeing it in person it’s hard to differentiate.
Enjoy it! |

Have to agree just cannot for the life of me why there is this fuss over what in the real world is 1mm. Yes the lugs are slimmer but as for the bracelet well would hardly call it bulky got to look real hard to notice any difference.

Well spotted, the wider outer links are contributing to making the bracelet seem fatter, don't know why they messed with the bracelet at all, just shave down the lugs.

if I hadn't read the no-date in the caption, I would have been unable to distinguish between the two... this 1mm seems to be a semantic difference only - so much noise for nothing
