Would you trade a 5712 and a 5726 for a 5740?
I was wondering if anyone here would trade a Geneva seal 5712 and a Polar 5726 for a 5740. On either a secondary or primary basis the numbers are about right. I really like the 5740 and miss not having a PC. The flip side is that it’s nice to have two options and the weight of the 5712 is amazing. I know I have the ‘itch’ and most trades I have done probably should not have been done. I thinks it’s a doable trade but is it one that even should be contemplated. I honestly would much rather trade my 6240 Daytona but I think the appetite for that it s not as strong. Thanks for your thoughts.

Nope... if the 11 and 12 was not as desired , do you believe the 40 would be as desired?

Maybe 5712/1A + 5726A.
Not 5712/1A + 5726/1A. |

Yes, as I am no fan of the 5726. I'd likely try to keep the 5712 though and trade away the 5726 plus cash for the 5740 (or, even more likely, sell the 5726 and hope for the 5740 coming through at the AD).

If 5740 has original box, COO etc in great Condition, yep For me I would have to do it :-)
The 5740 is the ultimate, me thinks. |

Personally I would - I am a fan of PC + PM, and the new deployant is the cherry on top

I’d do it, the 5740 is amazing, whereas the 5712 and 5726 are both nice.

I think Nautilus has 3 types:
1. 5711 - Classic, iconic, ultra thin 2. 5712, 5726, 5880, 5980 etc. - variations of nautilus 3. 5740 - PC, ultra thin just my 2 cents |

I would. Not that much of a fan on the Nautilus range, but the 5740G is special.

I wouldn’t, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad trade. The economics of it are okay? So it comes down to preference... So many of these threads can end with “Dude!? What are you thinking!” This is not one of those.
Having said that, I always thought of the 5740 as a bit of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup... It’s trying to mash together two things that are great on their own, that I kind of think work better separately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
