I don’t know which part of Europe you are located but every time i receive a package from outside of EU , I just receive Import tax bill after a few days of the receipt of package usually by email or sms, and pay it online then all sorted . I am in UK by the way

Lucky you! In this case the UK seems to have been a loophole for imports into the EU that may go away soon... As I said above, getting stuff shipped to Germany - in my case Munich - is different, at least in my experience. Maybe they are just better at collecting taxes here...

I thought I'd got away with it once when a package arrived as until then I had only been asked to pay before or on delivery, then a few days after the package came a letter from FedEx arrived.

This x 70,000. Chrono24 is unintentionally hilarious when it comes to "price."

Looking at the sales forum, there are a number of blue dials going unsold at around $70k. The white dial 5711 is going unsold at under $60k. Summer is over, but buyers have not returned.

As for the 5167a, also no buyers even for one at $33k being sold by Takuya.

On a side note, it seems there are no buyers for a BNIB BLRO Pepsi at around $17k.

It isn't. People are giving horror-scenarios.

I've shipped a box of 25 empty boxes to a given EU country and declared it as 2 EUR per box. My shipment was basically more expensive than the content. Still didn't get billed as the boxes are just boxes and empty.

Bringing back a good from abroad to the EU, you can just put the watch on your wrist. Leave the warranty card and bring it the next time you go to that destination. OR. Ship it with the box to an address that's unrelated to you or your family. Can't apply or charge VAT if they don't have the watch.

I passed on a white dial about 4 years ago (pre price hike too) with a nice juicy discount, buy what you like, it didn't really bloww me away, I liked some Calatravas more.
