John Mayer in Houston

Had the best time seeing John Mayer last night at the Toyota Center in Houston.

Not only is he a great guitarist, he’s an amazing entertainer. Played for about 2.5 hrs, the energy in the arena was incredible.

Any other JM fans here?

I am a huge fan, too, and am dying to see him live. He is one of the best guitarists alive, IMO.

Agreed, he's one of the reasons I got into guitar myself. Absolutely killed it last night

I'd like to catch Jack White play a show sometime too

Used to see him regularly when he was living in the Atlanta area and just breaking into the scene. Was actually in his first "No Such Thing" video shot at the Georgia Theater. Always plays a great show. I miss his Trio work, that was incredible.

Unfortunately not but I was hoping he would. A great show, nonetheless.

I saw JM live right after your body is a wonderland came out lol it was a small town college auditorium with about 800 people. I only went because me and my friends were tagging along with my sister and her friends and they drove us. I was about 15 if I recall.

Go on you tube, put in John Mayer “like a Rolling Stone” he did a show for Howard Stern, it is an excellent version.

big JM fan. I saw him in concert in college in 2004 (in a small college gymnasium) and saw him again at MSG a few weeks ago. great both times (much more impressive watch on the second time).

Saw him in Albany starting off this tour. An amazing guitar player (my other addiction, been playing 40 years) - great show. Wore the AP concept during the show I saw FWIW.

I think what he actually said was that he wanted to have lumed hands on that 5004 so that he could see the hands when he was on stage, but then said that he's never actually worn it on stage.

Think he's worn his AP Royal Oak concept GMT all tour.

So yeah, another huge fan here. My wife and I saw him as our first concert date together back in the summer of 2007 and we've been to a ton of concerts to see him since. [Actually ended up eating dinner at a table right next to him when we flew up to see him in Boston and my wife went over to say something as we walked out and his security guard swooped right in to stop her lol. He was having dinner with BJ Novak]
