My ad called me for a Deepsea

I left for work early today and neglect putting on a watch and felt naked the entire day at the office today.
My ad called me for a stainless steel watch black dial, I tried on that beast on for the first time and it was a no brainer. I wore the watch home. I think she forgot to have the stickers taken off the watch.

Black or JC Dial? I love my DSSD JC, once it is fit right it disappears into your wrist. Has helped me up my wrist awareness skills too!

Congrats it’s a great piece, was just sitting kitty-corner to a guy in a meeting who had one, so I took as good a look as I ever have of the black one on someone else’s wrist. It has a great wrist presence but does not look as huge as I would have thought.

Enjoy it in good health!

Smart move. When I see the JC dial I think to myself, what the hell were Rolex thinking?

Love the black dial. Love the JC dial more. Love my sub but wonder how a deep sea would wear.

Awesome choice, especially on the black dial. Dive watches have black dials for a reason. 👍🏻

Rolex did that because the black dial was not selling. They added the mixture of blue and lets call it James Cameron, lol. I think they did the same thing with the solid white gold gmt. Let’s put a meteorite dial on it.

My ad offer me a black steel Daytona. There’s a catch I had to purchase a Cellini. I didn’t feel comfortable at the time of buying a Cellini. I kinda regret it now.

I think of the 8 Rolexes I’ve owned since the late 70s, my deep sea JC is my most favorite of all. My poor Daytona’s are getting very little wrist time...

I don't like the thought of blackmail there either brother. Someone most likely took them up on the offer, then sold the Cellini, and factored the loss into the total cost of the Daytona. May not have cost double retail in the end, but still a substantial premium.

Yeah that really takes the joy out of buying a watch.

Congratulations!
Enjoy it, it's definitely a beauty! Got mine back in February and wear it more than any of my others.

Where did you source that info from? Is that an opinion or was it substantiated somewhere?

When was the last time you seen any of the models you mentioned just sitting around hoping to be bought? Lol.
